Cipherium M-series solution consists of a remote central Network Control System NCS20 and a line of Wireless Service Controllers ─ M6000, M5000, M3000, M1000 ─ each one can work independently as well as cooperate with each other as “a team” to accommodate a variety of environments, which allows customers to start off establishing the WLAN with one Wireless Service Controller in a single location, and to easily scale up their network deployments by combining with other Controllers to serve users across multiple locations under centralized management of NCS20. The M-series solution provides unique role-based policy management for APs, such as scheduled access time and bandwidth control, to allow efficient network resources allocation. Its Centralized AP Management functions allow administrators to remotely configure, update, and monitor all managed APs from a unified secured Web interface. This is one handy feature of the solution that is designed to help build wireless networks with high flexibility and manageability and, at the same time, easily gain full control of users, services and devices.

The built-in comprehensive sets of service levels of M-series include Access Control (based on user type, location, and time), Accounting (based on time, volume, and bandwidth), and Instant Guest Account Generation. In addition, third-party application servers for multi-media, VoIP, or other services can also be connected to the Controllers to be effectively delivered to the designated clients ─ all are under the service provisioning and bandwidth management of M-series Wireless Service Controllers.
