Aruba 2400 Switch
2400
The Aruba 2400 easily adds Wi-Fi switching and discrete Wi-Fi applications where and when needed at extremely compelling price points. Functioning as a Wi-Fi switch or a campus wiring closet Wi-Fi mux, the Aruba 2400 delivers unreal performance and scalability.
The Aruba 800 is a stackable, 1U high, fixed-configuration device that seamlessly integrates into any L2/L3 wired network with no logical or physical network reconfiguration. The Aruba 800 supports up to 16 APs, 2 Gbps of full-duplex throughput and provides eight 10/100 Mbps (power over) Ethernet (802.3af) ports for connecting to access points, layer 2 switches, servers or computers. Two gigabit Ethernet uplinks allow the 2400 to be trunked to other Aruba switches or to core network devices.
Unlike conventional layer 2/3 switches, the Aruba 2400 is built around a unique wireless processing architecture that includes a high-speed packet processor, a flexible control proccessor, and a programmable encryption engine. Together, this power enables the Aruba 2400 to deliver up to 400 Mbps of encrypted throughput and support for 16,000 stateful user firewall policies within a single system.
