VisiWave Site Survey is an advanced site survey tool that provides data collection and visualization capabilities not found in any other existing product. The VisiWave Site Survey product takes advantage of advanced location tracking technology and combines that with high powered data visualization and reporting capabilities to create a complete wireless LAN site surveying solution.

The process of collecting site survey data is simplified by using either a portable Pocket PC device or a Windows laptop computer, a standard wireless network adapter, and a Hardware Navigation Unit. The navigation unit is the most distinctive feature of VisiWave Site Survey Pro. This unit electronically keeps track of your location as you walk around the survey area. VisiWave then combines your location with the collected radiowave characteristics to automatically map out your wireless network. Since this technology does not rely on GPS, it works both indoors and out.

VisiWave goes well beyond just visualizing your wireless coverage. With VisiWave you can easily create interference maps, discover the existence and location of rogue access points, find interference sources, stumble neighboring access points to determine their effect on your network, view overlapping wireless access point coverage, and much more.
