AirCQ by LodeSoft is an Instant Messaging program for WiFi computers that can be run on a dynamic, ever changing WiFi network. AirCQ allows users to text chat, voice chat, video chat, and send files to other WiFi computers that are also running AirCQ. Its most significant feature is its ability to communicate with an out of range AirCQ user by "hoping" through intermediate WiFi computers also running AirCQ. No access point is needed! AirCQ creates a dynamic network by "hoping" though up to 30 WiFi enabled computers to find the person you wish to chat with.
LodeSoft's AirCQ creates a dynamic Ad Hoc network that allows the users to create a WiFi network without the necessity of using an Access Point. This Ad Hoc network can create a community of up to 200 users, within a range of around 3 km.
