MSG100 comes with the capability of providing multiple virtual networks, called Service Zones, each with its own definable access control profiles. This function partitions a single physical network into up to 5 secure, virtual networks with VLAN technology. To easily classify users, different network usage levels and user privileges can be defined for different user Groups on MSG100. The Group-based access control restricts who can get onto which Service Zone and what they can do once connected. Having this capability will allow different users in one office environment to enjoy different levels of network services.
