NetMRI Campus Model
campus
Campus Model portable, 6 lb desktop unit that supports up to 200 routers and switches or up to 6,000 router and switch interfaces
Both models provide the same collection, analysis and reporting capabilities; they differ only in the size of the network supported. Plug-N-Play Solution
The NetMRI Network Analysis Appliance installs in minutes, requiring operators to enter only basic information about the network. Once configured, there is no ongoing maintenance or management of the system. Just like a medical MRI device, this diagnostic tool scans the network, quickly identifies the routers and switches, and begins collecting data from them immediately. The collected data is analyzed extensively overnight so that NetMRI can generate the daily Network ScorecardÃÂÃÂ, which is an easy-to-understand, one page overview of all current network problems. The Network ScorecardÃÂÃÂ is revised every day and is ready for your review each morning via a secure web browser. The Network Scorecard includes a 30-day history chart so that network engineers and network managers can quickly spot both positive and negative trends. See NetMRI Network Scorecard for more details.
At the heart of NetMRI's analysis process are a set of Expert Rules that detect problems associated with the correctness and stability of the network. NetMRI's Expert Rules are based on the best network practices developed by the Netcordia team's extensive network analysis experience, including Netcordia's founder, Terry Slattery, who is recognized as a leading expert in network analysis. For over a decade, he and his team have trained tens of thousands of network engineers and consulted to major organizations. Based on these experiences, the team has developed the Expert Rules that are incorporated into NetMRI. The rules are constantly updated to reflect new technology added to today's networks and best practices from manufacturers and client experiences.
