RoamAD WNP1.5
RoamAD WNP1.5
RoamAD's node and network creation and configuration options are unmatched from a flexibility and functionality perspective.
RoamAD's platform supports up to four radios per node using any combination of 900MHz, 2.4GHz, 4.9GHz, and 5 GHz for either backhaul or end user access. Backhaul options include point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, multipoint-to-multipoint, mesh, and mobile mesh either in self-forming, self-healing modes, or in RoamAD's infrastructure-mesh mode.
Feature and configuration options include:
* Multi-radio selection (activate between 1-4 radios per node) * Radio frequencies supported: 900 MHz, 2.4 GHz, 4.9 GHz, 5 GHz (in any combination) * Highly flexible network topology options (select RoamAD's Infrastructure-Mesh, point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, multipoint-to-multipoint, or full mesh modes) * Variable and fixed Transmit Power Control (TPC) * Channel assignment per operating frequency ÃÂÃÂ manual, Auto Channel Selection, or Dynamic Frequency Control (DFS) * Secure VPN between RoamAD network servers * DNS, DHCP and NAT services * Turbo Mode on 802.11a/g ÃÂÃÂ 108 Mbps transmission rate. * QoS settings: o WMM providing 4 access classes or queues o Traffic priority (based on traffic type) o Data rate-limit per end user o IP QoS rules auto-converted to WMM * Supports global roaming * Multiple BSSIDs / Virtual APs: o Up to 8 SSIDs (including 7 VAPs) configurable on each physical radio deployed o Unique QoS and security profiles per VAP o Allows multiple networks to share the same infrastructure o Allows separate splash-pages (landing pages) per VAP o Allows Authentication to separate RADIUS servers per VAP * Radio modes (per radio): o Dedicated backhaul o Dedicated end user access o Both backhaul and end user access * Redundancy configuration support: o Self-healing, self-forming mesh options o RF coverage signal (overlapping signal from different nodes) o Auto Ethernet port activation o Backhaul wireless routes (dynamic failover for high-availability infrastructure-based networks)
