The WIRELESS WIZARD is a complete Spectrum Analyzer system which covers all 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands plus the 4.94 to 4.99 GHz Public Safety band. The handheld spectrum analyzer plus directional and omni-directional antennas are packages in a small lightweight carrying case. The system can be recharged or powered using any worldwide line voltage as well as 12 VDC vehicle accessory power outlets.
Included is a Bantam Instruments developed 2.4 to 6.0 GHz Log Periodic Directional Antenna which can be used to seek out Wi-Fi access points as well as sources of interference. The broad frequency range covers all Wi-Fi channels and the small size makes it easy to carry around to search out Wi-Fi problems.
PC compatible software is also included which can be used to download the measurement trace or tabular measurement data. A data logging mode allows measurements to be automatically stored on the PC hard drive without an operator present.
